Now that I have an apartment I need a job. Pretty soon I'll have a little blue peg and a little pink peg in my plastic car and I'll be closing in on the last square on the board...

I can:

* edit text files (i.e. make pages for the interwebb)

* cook (i.e. drink wine and recall arcane recipes)

* tend bar (i.e. scowl and recall arcane recipes

* write (i.e. scowl)

Who's gonna help me out??

OK, now how about a job for me? I can...

*program in not so fancy web lingo like ASP and VBS and Javascript, and oh yeah that HTML stuff that makes the blue type.

*illustrate quite nicely. (Just found a box full of my old stuff from art school and before... yikes, I used to be halfway decent)

*write bad porn

*play bass well. play guitar badly.

Won't somebody oh somebody please find me a job? Without a job, I don't have the money to move out of the Ex's flat, and that is intensely unhealthy.

Tough time to be looking for work. If you are just looking for something to pay the bills, you might try the Strand, and all sorts of restaurant type places around Union Square. I noticed a few help wanted signs on my path to work over the summer.

In the Guardian yesterday there was a job for a computer games reviewer or something like that. And a picture assistant for Punch magazine. And I think sub-editor for 2000AD.
