It's only when you see them all that you realise what a complete crock of shite they all are. Like football got a batch of acid circa 1994 and thought 'what a good idea'. Strewth.

I like Yorkie at York. He's rude and crude and a very nice man beneath the mask. The City at Bradford is a bit K-rub though. Clarence the Dragon at the cobbledrs is uber naff and never wins the mascot olympics due to having large feet. And Wandle the Womble as happily departed this mortal coil. I want AFC Wimbledon to have a Don who walks around in a overcoat, smoking a big fat cigar whilst the theme from the Godfather plays on the PA. I think it might scare the kids though, so kinda misses the mascot point.

I think AFCW's theme song should be "The Things That Are Done by A Don" from the ever-so-English musical "Salad Days". it's great!

Also you could eschew baseball caps in favour of AFCW branded mortar boards.

It's particularly rubbish when the team's official nickname and the actual one the fans use are different. Bristol Rovers are allegedly the pirates, but I've never heard a fan refer to them thus - due to the huge gasometer next to the old ground for many decades, they are 'the gas' and we fans are known as 'gasheads'. The only apt mascot I can envisage would be dressed as a gasometer, which seems unlikely to happen.
