A new ITV comedy that might actually be quite good

"[ITV] has commissioned Director's Commentary, starring [Rob] Brydon supplying bogus directorial voice-overs to classic TV shows like Upstairs Downstairs - a spoof on the extras found on DVDs."

Though they most probably nicked the idea from that Adam & Joe video that's been doing the rounds of various comedy industry peeps (where Adam Buxton, in character as Ken Korda, does a director's commentary for a full episode of The Priory), I think that this has a lot of potential. The article doesn't mention when the programme is expected to be be broadcast, tho.
