I've always wanted to read him, but probably never will.

Why not?

Eyeball Kicks (Eyeball Kicks), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 23:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Because there are no many other things to get to.

Rockist Scientist, Tuesday, 20 May 2003 23:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Such as? Do you wish us to discuss Trigant Burrow? Because you're putting me off.

Eyeball Kicks (Eyeball Kicks), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 23:44 (twenty-two years ago)

Forget it, Christ. "Putting you off?" It was just a copy-cat thread basically.

Rockist Scientist, Tuesday, 20 May 2003 23:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh, was it? Good one!

Eyeball Kicks (Eyeball Kicks), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 23:50 (twenty-two years ago)

My life is that of rotting carrion.

Eyeball Kicks (Eyeball Kicks), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 23:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Could you do something about the smell? Thanks.

oops (Oops), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 23:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Oops, do you know anything about this Trigant Burrow?

Eyeball Kicks (Eyeball Kicks), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 23:55 (twenty-two years ago)

We have to save a thread.

Eyeball Kicks (Eyeball Kicks), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 23:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Which one? THIS one?

oops (Oops), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 23:57 (twenty-two years ago)

I killed two Eyeball posts w/one of mine

oops (Oops), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 23:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Seriously, his name rings a bell. I'm thinking he was one of the first to advocate group therapy. That's the extent of my knowledge.

oops (Oops), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 23:59 (twenty-two years ago)

He'd like this place then. Wouldn't he, oops?

Eyeball Kicks (Eyeball Kicks), Wednesday, 21 May 2003 00:01 (twenty-two years ago)

yes, yes he would. Esp. the part about there being no group 'leader'.

'Social self-inquiry was originated by Trigant Burrow in the 1920's and is now carried forward by a small group of investigators at The Lifwynn Foundation. It is a research method that combines group work with a somatic approach and is aimed at a better understanding of hostility and alienation in human relationships.'

I'm sorry, but when I got home and saw this thread had 15 posts, I couldn't even look at it. I am slightly fascinated by how quickly so many of Freud's students went off in their own directions, forming so many heretical offshoots of psychoanalysis.

I also just like the way his name looks. I've never seen the name "Trigant" anywhere else, and I'm not even quite sure how to say it.

one year passes...
More please.
