Yes, it happened and it went pretty well I think, thanks for asking. It was totally fun (excuse my inarticulacy but I had to wake up four hours later). I was sorta co-hosting my friend's show on CKUT (by the way Sébastien you could just listen to it on a regular radio as you live in Mtl--but yes you coulda listened to it online) I played some songs and engaged in some humourous banter. I have a standing invitation to come back so I probably will soon.

But shit, was I ever nervous. I don't have any problem with public speaking and the like but I do get pretty jittery beforehand.

Oh, I get so bouncy & silly when I'm nervous sometimes. I try sitting still & doing yoga breathing, but it never works. The worst is in the morning, if I've had more than one cup of coffee- urgh.

I just made plans for a date with a boy (he surfs! he loves dogs! he has such a cute smile!) last night, and I almost bounced off the wall when I hung up from nervousness & bounciness. Thankfully I don't have to go on said date until next week, maybe I'll calm down by then.

Congratulations, slutsky! I talk a LOT when I'm nervous. And often say weird and inappropriate things and then it's like I have to keep talking to take the listener's mind off the idiocy I've just spewed and lo! comes more idiocy and on and on and on. Either that or I faint. Sometimes I'm not sure which is worse.

It could be the beginning of a demi-career (ie I'll probably co-host from time to time and maybe eventually on a semi-permanent basis, who knows. And thanks for the congrats). Actually, pretty much every day this week I've had a different job (this is the life of a freelancer). This week I've been a movie critic, a resto critic, a radio host, a cameraman, an auctioneer and a DJ.
