I probably shouldn't drink any coffee since it makes me liable to go off at people, but I like iced coffee.

Classic, but come on, I live in the tropics.

The first time I ordered iced coffee in New Hampshire, in 1993, I had to explain what it was, and then they brought me a glass of ice and poured hot coffee into it.

I believe that $t*rbuck$ is an evil empire...but when the weather is hot few things are as good as a mocha frappuchino.

Classic when it's actual iced coffee and not just hot coffee with ice in it.

Jody Beth Rosen (Jody Beth Rosen), Friday, 23 May 2003 02:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Do they actually do that in civilized places, or are you just cringing at my NH experience?

Tep (ktepi), Friday, 23 May 2003 02:43 (twenty-two years ago)

I think most places do that.

Jody Beth Rosen (Jody Beth Rosen), Friday, 23 May 2003 02:45 (twenty-two years ago)

They never did that in Massachusetts! Or here. Or Denver, which is where I was introduced to iced coffee.

Tep (ktepi), Friday, 23 May 2003 02:47 (twenty-two years ago)

what about iced moxie?

Tad (llamasfur), Friday, 23 May 2003 02:48 (twenty-two years ago)

what about iced gravox?

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Friday, 23 May 2003 02:48 (twenty-two years ago)

iced gravlax?

Jody Beth Rosen (Jody Beth Rosen), Friday, 23 May 2003 02:49 (twenty-two years ago)

ice is nice

Tad (llamasfur), Friday, 23 May 2003 02:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Iced Moxie is great, obviously! It should be consumed cold. Room-temp is acceptable. Hot is odd. Not bad odd, but sort of "I got off on that, and yet let's not speak of it in the morning" odd.

Tep (ktepi), Friday, 23 May 2003 02:50 (twenty-two years ago)

but what sort of iced drink would cats like?

Tad (llamasfur), Friday, 23 May 2003 02:52 (twenty-two years ago)

milk

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Friday, 23 May 2003 02:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Where did my Dunkin Donuts posts go? Did I post to the wrong thread?

amateurist (amateurist), Friday, 23 May 2003 02:56 (twenty-two years ago)

God, you people all suck, I'm now DYING for some kind of sweet sugary horror evil coffee shop drink because of this board.

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 23 May 2003 02:57 (twenty-two years ago)

as long as it's not distilled cat anus on ice

Tad (llamasfur), Friday, 23 May 2003 02:57 (twenty-two years ago)

THANK YOU FOR THAT, TAD, IT WAS LOVELY.

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 23 May 2003 02:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Classic all the way. Two favorites are just a straight-up iced latte and the Iced Blended Mocha from Coffee Bean And Tea Leaf, which is closer to a caffeinated version of that slush fuel used to power the SR-71 than actual coffee.

Does it never end?

luna (luna.c), Friday, 23 May 2003 05:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Hey, I didn't bring it up.

Tep (ktepi), Friday, 23 May 2003 05:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Well it wasn't me.

luna (luna.c), Friday, 23 May 2003 05:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Tim Hortons offers a tasty Iced Coffees during the summer months. Taste kind of like adult slush puppies because the coffee flavour disappears long before the actual ice.

Bruce Urquhart (Bruce Urquhart), Friday, 23 May 2003 05:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Iced coffee is nice but a shakerato is devine. A Shakerato is a stock italian bar drink where the put ice in a cocktail shaker, add an espresso, and a glug of either brandy or ammaretto. Its then shaken violently and poured out into a chapagne cup. It is a beautiful summer evening drink.

Ed (dali), Friday, 23 May 2003 06:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Ed my personal version of this suspiciously-named "Italian" drink is ice + milk + sugar + either instant Cafe Bustelo or that Dominican Nescafe instant stuff (it MUST be "instant espresso") shaken with extreme prejudice. Shakerato. heh.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Friday, 23 May 2003 14:59 (twenty-two years ago)

The Italian café near my house makes great great ice coffee. This ice coffee:me::spinach:Popeye.

slutsky (slutsky), Saturday, 24 May 2003 15:26 (twenty-two years ago)

Did I do that right?

slutsky (slutsky), Saturday, 24 May 2003 15:26 (twenty-two years ago)

Straight-up iced coffee is SO CLASSIC. When I was last in New Orleans it was very hot and I was very tired all the time, so I started drinking the stuff like water and I've been on a kick ever since.

Jordan (Jordan), Saturday, 24 May 2003 15:49 (twenty-two years ago)

nine months pass...
Anyone still there

Michael Thorn, Thursday, 18 March 2004 20:26 (twenty-two years ago)

They've all gone. Hold my hand.
