I hate pretentious haircuts and, actually, all haircuts that make a person look good in any way, as well as all clothing and personality affectations that allow one to engage another in a car-salesman-like, drug-pusher-like, "hey, you want some of this" kind of way.

Everyone should be ugly until that becomes fashionably sexy, of course.

Flirting = the option of the stupid and worthless.

This style is actually becoming pretty "OUT", and is about a couple of years old now

when i lived in san diego about 11-13 years ago, this was actually the very, very standard cut emo/screamo hair. justin pearson (holy molar, crimson curse, swing kids, the locust, etc.) sported this "do" up until about 7 years ago.
