Have you ever balded yourself for a woman?

Yep.

I am naturally hairy. i predict that by the age of thirty my back will be blanketed by my moss like growth.

i became enamoured with a particular lady, who during the course of an enlightening conversation, mentioned that she had recently had a brazilian. having always scoffed at blokes who waxed their chests, i became inspired to match her in all her hairless glory. over the course of two hours, i proceeded to clipper away every single body hair. this was followed by shaving with a triple razor. my reward for such an adventure was to be dumped a week later as i itched like a demon at all the in-grown hairs. where there was one hair there are now three and i am now one the hairiest mofos around.

so ladies and gents has anyone balded themselves during the rough and tumble of dating? and what are people's thoughts on back hair?

This is a favourite ILX topic. Why is it my own body hair never looks right to me, while on other people it looks fine? I often find myself thinking "they're all looking at my slightly-too-dark arm hair!".

I occasionally wonder to what extent the small amount of visible chest hair I have has detered foxtresses after a bit of Mark-lovin' (my arms are, luckily, not bad at all). But to be honest, I can't think of any times it's made an evident difference, even though I am well above the level of hirsuite-ness *I* consider acceptable on a bloke. But then I don't like body hair full stop.

But I'd probably agree to a certain amount of balding for someone I cared about. Ideally with expensive laser treatment that never grows back (NB when this exists, please tell me).

The first person who points out I'm no stranger to balding gets a bitchslap.

Are there really men who are proud of their body hair?

Nordicskillz (Nordicskillz), Friday, 23 May 2003 09:37 (twenty-two years ago)

chest hair is negotiable, it can look ok on some guys. but back hair...i'm sorry, but it really grosses me out. i would be happy to help a boyfriend wax/nair it, to avoid shaving stubble, as well.

No one has ever wanted it of me. I'd do almost anything for someone I really cared about, and this would be no big deal at all.

I love my body hair. Well, love might be too strong of a word, but I think it's a good amount of hair. I would shave it if my girlfriend really wanted me to, but I think she would be a little upset if I did actually.

fourteen years pass...

Surprisingly, I can pretty much say that yes I have done something pretty close to the scenario in the OP

I married a woman 32 years ago when I had a full head of hair. 31 years ago we had a daughter who is now a woman, too. Now I am full-on cue ball bald up top, with a fringe of wisps around the sides. I'm not sure I 'did this for' either of these two women, but I can't rule it out entirely. There are days when it feels plausible. Would do it again, tbh.

yeah i've balded myself for a woman, but i'm bald so there wasn't much choice in the matter

No. I like a nice muff on myself and on my wife. People who ph3@r body hair need to grow up. The youngsters' trend of removing everything freaks me out a bit to be honest.

More appropriate fodder for ILTMI.
