A pair of really fucked up Trezeta boots, bottom layer of soles almost entirely hanging off, which I reverted to when my normal boots got wet. Now I'm thinking of just bringing these into a shoe store and saying "Like these, only not fucked up"

I'm wearing black-and-white-striped TOE SOCKS*! My shoes (big monstrous steel-toed black leather "work boots") are under my desk, not actually on my feet at this moment; but they will be soon, as I'm about to go walk to the office kitchen** to make some green tea.

*toe socks = socks with separate little socklets for each toe, very comfy and funky

**office kitchen = a room with a refrigerator, microwave, water cooler, table & coffee pot...if you got dirty dishes, you gotta wash them in the bathroom (ugh)
