What to do

I have an unexpected day off due to the fact that my car decided to break last nite & hence i couldn't get to work today. The down side of this is that I've just watched them tow my car away & it wont be back til next tuesday. I am very skint & this will cost 300 quid adding to the fact that i am confined to cambridge for the w/e, not being able to go out for my best mate's b/day 2moro, alton towers on tuesday or go to portsmouth for my friend's wedding celebrations who is over from the states.
So I am surrounded by all manor of distractions (internet, ps2, loads of dvds & vids, loads of music etc) but yet, nothing is appealing & I cannot seem to cheer myself up. Any suggestions?

Think yourself lucky you haven't been unemployed on and off for 18 months?

Sorry, that was a wanky answer. Go on a walk and explore parts of your neighbourhood that you've never ever been to.

Go for a long walk by the river, then make mix tapes and Google old schoolfriends for the rest of the day, followed by a laborious but delicious dinner that normally you wouldn't have time to make. Repeat to fade.

If it's substantially the same stuff as I saw last year at Interim Art then it's tremendous. Precise, detailed, understated, suburban, human: smart.

Pinkpanther: CAMBRIDGE BEER FESTIVAL! We're going tonight, so come and see us. We'll be the ones mucking out the Marston's Pedigree pen.

Alternatively, go and see ERASURE for twenty quid.
