My little dog Harry is having his first birthday today. Is he still technically a puppy? And if not, is he finally off the twee hook?

To see him is to twee him. He has white wool, black button eyes, and a round nose which looks as though it is made out of vinyl. He skips through the surf like a rabbit. He did a commando roll down an enormous sand dune. He has no idea he is small and fluffy, a Gabor slipper. He is a truly ridiculous creature.

We're having his cake next weekend at a joint birthday celebration with his girlfriend. I don't know what kind of cake I should make them. Any suggestions? They like meat and chips.

I went into my flatmates room to talk to him and I spied my undies, a pair of my undertrouser pants! on his floor! looking a little well moistened. I raised an eyebrow ( im no drama queen ) and he quickly blamed the puppy.

my dog is seven, i thought he was a puppy until i noticed his muzzle turning white and went "NOOOOO! You're a DOG!"

As for cake, there's a clifford book with a recipe for dog cookies. they look like regular sugar cookies and smell, well, like dog food.

I make my dog a birthday cake every year. I use a regular sponge cake recipe, and stir in a tin of doggy meaty chunks before baking it. He says it is num.
