Chris H. (chrisherbert), Thursday, 29 May 2003 01:12 (twenty-two years ago)

Tad (llamasfur), Thursday, 29 May 2003 03:52 (twenty-two years ago)

The GOP - because otherwise Democrats would run things unopposed

moammar qadaffi: (a) because he's more sane and humane than saddam hussein, that assad guy, and whoever the fuck is running algeria these days. (b) he's a sensitive guy who writes poetry (check out his Green Book, yo). (c) he has such a snappy uniform and he loves mackin' on the foreign chicks.

Pollution also gives us really pretty sunsets.

hstencil, Thursday, 29 May 2003 04:22 (twenty-two years ago)

"I hear the fuckin' smog is the fuckin' reason you have such beautiful fuckin' sunsets."

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Thursday, 29 May 2003 04:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Geir Hongro and Calum - because ILXors really need a common enemy.

hstencil, Thursday, 29 May 2003 04:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Fascism - Great costumes!

Michael Stuchbery (Mikey Bidness), Thursday, 29 May 2003 04:32 (twenty-two years ago)

Just for that, Tad:

Liberals -- Really good at demanding hardworking people support nonworking people, stirring up racial conflict where there was none before, and, if they happen to be Caucasian, excellent masters of self-loathing.

*sticks out tongue*

Dee the Lurker (Dee the Lurker), Thursday, 29 May 2003 04:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Conservatives - they keep it simple, stupid.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Thursday, 29 May 2003 04:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Office gossip: keeps women busy while we be clocking mad dollaz

oops (Oops), Thursday, 29 May 2003 04:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Instant obsolescence of computers: all computer equipment, no matter how expensive, eventually winds up in the hands of hobbeyists. Cool.

Dave Fischer, Thursday, 29 May 2003 05:01 (twenty-two years ago)

That's not really indefensible at all. It's just cool. Especially now that computers are getting more and more powerful just to keep up with games. I have as powerful a computer as I need to run Photoshop and Dreamweaver and Soundforge, and it's a cheap, cobbled-together mess.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Thursday, 29 May 2003 05:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Kenan Hebert - because someone on ILX has to be ultra-literalist.

(sorry)

hstencil, Thursday, 29 May 2003 05:07 (twenty-two years ago)

hstencil - because someone on ILX has to be an unwanted police force.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Thursday, 29 May 2003 05:09 (twenty-two years ago)

shut up or you're going downtown, hippie.

(I'm already covered upthread)

Covered in a bag of dicks!

oops (Oops), Thursday, 29 May 2003 05:13 (twenty-two years ago)

hstencil is a pig!

(goes limp, lets himself be dragged away peacefully)

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Thursday, 29 May 2003 05:15 (twenty-two years ago)

And besides, you covered *yourself* upthread, so I don't think it should count.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Thursday, 29 May 2003 05:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, if you're the one paying for new equipment (and *someone* does!), then the "instant obsolecence" thing really sucks. If you're like me, a starving artist with a taste for high-end computers, it's the best thing ever. (Not many people in my crowd buying Sun & Cisco *new*.)

Dave Fischer, Thursday, 29 May 2003 05:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Thread derailments: sometimes are the best part about a thread

oops (Oops), Thursday, 29 May 2003 05:41 (twenty-two years ago)

j.lu (j.lu), Thursday, 29 May 2003 05:52 (twenty-two years ago)

I stand by that one.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Thursday, 29 May 2003 05:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Poisoning midgets in their sleep: at least they don't feel any pain.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Thursday, 29 May 2003 12:11 (twenty-two years ago)

This thread: well, it's good you all think you're funny, at least.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 29 May 2003 13:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Ally: her fake tits make her an excellent flotation device

oops (Oops), Thursday, 29 May 2003 21:06 (twenty-two years ago)

wait, I don't think she's indefensible

oops (Oops), Thursday, 29 May 2003 21:09 (twenty-two years ago)

So I was on the indefensible thread, and Ally posted, and she was all "ENNNHHHHH" and I was like WHATEVER

Millar (Millar), Thursday, 29 May 2003 21:11 (twenty-two years ago)

Preach on sista.
