I'm in the initial stages of planning an event as well. Does anyone know of any organizations set up to aid the families of the NYPD, firefighters and other relief workers?

please if you are reading this donate to the emt/firefighter fund linked above. I just accounted for our last missing person in ur family today and he was an emt worker scheduled for the financial district daily. i am quite drnkj on celbartory vodka tonics that we have found everyone but thin of thefamilies wh ohave nofound everyone. plese donate - i sent in $10, which isn't a lot but it's SOMETHING.

As well Doctors with out borders are doing emergency triage and need all the help they can get $ wise.
