I have no idea what mono.net is and somehow I'm glad!

And onesixone has "regulars"? How does that work when it holds so many different kindsa nights? I've been there for deep house, indie and goth - I cant see the same fux0rs showing up to all three somehow (well err.... except for myself um er dammit).

well, the regulars who attend shake some action on thursday nights

mono.net is their online hangout, where they arrange to fuck eachother at cherry on saturday night. it's rather incestuous and cliquey (a clique based on dumb people fucking eachother, wow)

... which is rather hypocritcal of me, considering there's no more than one degrees of separation between me and either you or mr ESOjim.

there's a few people from a few infamous bands on there, but they tend to keep anonymous (gee, I wonder why?)

most of them are just tryhard new rock fans who think that nothing exists outside of the melbourne rock scene and that if it ain't rockin, it's not worth listening to.

of course, there are the exceptions who don't post (hi clare!), but.. yeah.

mono is a top site run by some great people that has had it's name dragged through the mud by a bunch of unwashed-denim-clad keyboard-wielding rock-bogans.
