Darryl Powell?

Well Gilles Grimandi must have known a bad thing when he saw it because he quit the Colorado Rapids a few days before the season started, and they're now 0-5-1.

The team has just signed Darryl Powell, of Sheffield Wednesday. I guess he can only help at this point, but there are rumblings that he's injury prone and past his prime. Does anybody know anything about this guy?

Why would he go and play in the US if he WASN'T injury prone and past his prime?

He was one of those sturdy, industrious midfielders who has a 10-12 yr career in crap premiership and div 1 teams. More relegations than promotions and once they've gone few will remember them.
