so, sources tell me that room 680 (that shithole nightclub on glenferrie road, just above the illustrious Foodchain (who said they couldn't stack shit that high?)) is having a Rock Night.
this makes, what... 3 rock nights a week in melbourne (excluding cherry, which is pretty much more rock than MMM)? is this a phenomenon anywhere else? the 'rock night' thing? or are we lucky melbournians the only ones who get to experience it?
who wants to get a head-start on the new-post-rock wave that's probably going to wash over melbourne, hopefully taking all the 'ironic' brand-new 80's metal band t-shirts and half-empty jars of fudge with it?
