Everwood

My sister says this is a good show. We caught one episode last Sun., may have been the first one, in repeat I mean. She really likes the dreamy broody high school boy, Ephram, is it? Parts of it were really schmaltzy. She said it gets better. Treat Williams is the father. So Everwood, up and coming WB drama or more trash to be avoided? I've avoided it thus far cause it just looks so blah. I dunno, dad is a brian surgeon and moves his family to this small Colorado town cause it was mom's dying wish or something. It looks cold in Everwood. Also: during the commercials there was a spot of Jess in Cali. Appararantly they haven't come up with a name for the show yet. Where in L.A. is he supposed to live?

I think it goes clear over the sentimental edge. Like Boston Public, every episode is a *very special episode.*

Jess lives in Venice, Mary. Sadly, I no longer have an in with the Gilmore Girls folks. But I do know that much.

How did the Everwood mother die? I missed that part.

It seems stealth Christian-esque.

I think the Everwood mother died in an unexpected car crash. In the first show she was there a la Providence mom, quel dud, my sister said they don't do that anymore. I hope not. My sister said that the abortion episode was very well done. I also read that somewhere too.

I saw adverts for this when I was in the US last september, I think.

I thought [the exact words I thought] "that looks really shit."
