Ha - once again it is political correctness gone mad. No-one refers to all young people as neds, do they? Rosie Kane is a mentalist.
btw did anyone think this thread was about Mr Raggett?

High school-era Ned (far left) with his best school friends?

Hmmmm. Maybe you should switch over to your middle name, oh dear Sir Raggett. Which would be... ?

Nope, I meant no double entendres there. Nope, none whatsoever.
Hootie, huh? Well, you can't be a sexist old codger from the world of golf that Tiger Woods, by his actions, managed to humiliate. So you must be the Guy Who's Popular With the Laydeez.

Poor Ned. There's nothing wrong with your name, really. Even though some would have it associated with the immature boy arseholes of the world. *hmphs in the Concise Oxford Dictionary's general direction* I would rather have it associated with this:

OH I KID. ;)
Hey, who else has this nifty little .gif waiting just for them to use in any manner they like?

Yep. I made it. All by myself. But you can have it. Go ahead.

They are the scourge of my street (we've had our windscreen broken twice, yesterday we caught a couple of boys running across our back garden and hurdling the fences over all our neighbours' gardens too, trampling our flowers etc), and they are a problem. Something needs to be done about them, and if the Scottish Executive wants to do something to stop vandalism, violence etc, then they have to be able to call them something to debate what's going to be done. And if they're quite happy to call themselves neds, then why can't anyone else?
Right, I'm off for a mug of Ovaltine and a read of the Daily Mail...
