anthony, Friday, 14 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

the link doesn't work for me. it gets me no farther than a blank beliefnet homepage.

maria, Friday, 14 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

works for me ?

anthony, Friday, 14 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

it must be my computer. it doesn't like beliefnet.

maria, Friday, 14 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

when you lie like i did you get- JOSEPH. Self-assured and proud of it, you're leadership material through and through. Hey, can you help it if other people think you know it all? You do!

kevin enas, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I R Joseph.

Richard Tunnicliffe, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I are Joseph too.

DG, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Me too. Hairshirt is not a good look.

suzy, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Well, it sez I'm a Joseph, but the description doesn't sound much like me.

DavidM, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I R also Joseph.

Graham, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I'm also Joseph. Hrmmm, strange, must just be their blanket category for any heathens. ;-) None of the answers really fit me... I don't have, nor do I ever plan on having a wife, for instance. And "Vegetarian Junk Food" was not an answer, either.

kate, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Guess what? I'm joseph too.

jel, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I'm Joseph as well. Which is strange, because I am an awful leader.

Bill, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I'd rather be either David who beat Goliath or the good Samaritan.

jel, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I too am Joseph.

Ronan, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I'm Joseph too. How come you don't get to be Jesus?

emil.y, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Cos you only get to be Joseph it seems.

Ronan, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

finally got it to work. for all my effort...joseph.

disgruntled maria, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I reckon we root out all the non Josephs and punish them.

Ronan, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Which joseph is it tho?: jesus's dad (yes i know but you know what i mean) or amazing technicolor dreamcoat joseph?

(or even another joseph wot i have forgot)

mark s, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I think its Technicolour Dreamboat Joseph - I was him too. How I wuv my coat of many colours, it was red and yellow and pink and green and orange and purple and brown.

Pete, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

("naphthali and issachar, asher and gad...")

mark s, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Good god, don't start this again... around the time we found out Dan was called Dan and not Colin after all, we tried to remember all the 12 tribes of Israel, because all I could remember was Asher and Dan, and the only thing I could remember was that blasted song...

Rueben was the eldest of the children of Israel, with Simeon and Levi next in line... Naphtali and Issachar with Asher and Dan, Zebulon and Gad took the total to nine... and then there's Benjamin and Joseph and I'm damned if I can remember the last one. Still can't. Can anyone devout please help me?

kate, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Reuben Simeon Levi Judah Issachar Zebulon Joesph Benjamin Dan Naphtali Gad Asher

anthony, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Last (but not youngest) of Jacob's sons = Judah, but I can't be devout as I can't remember how he fits into the song.

mark s, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ulp yes I can: "Benjamin and Judah, that leaves only one: JOSEPH = JACOB'S FAVOURITE SON!"

Aged eight or so, I could sing the entire LP from beginning to end. So could my sister.

"… when seven fat cows came on out of the Nile uh-huh-hunh and right-ah behind-ah those-ah fine healthy animals came seven other cows that were skinnyandvile uh-huh- hunh… "

mark s, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Thanks, Mark and Anthony! (Hrmmm...)

Benjamin and Judah which leaves only one... Joseph, Jacob's favourite son... Jacob! Jacob and sons! Depended on farming to earn their keep, spent all of their lives in the field with sheep...

God, I was in that play when I was about 6, I can't believe I remember as much as I do.

kate, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ah, the Elvis/Pharaoh was the best bit! I don't know why that play was so brilliant, but oh it was. So many things I didn't get when I was 6, but now have me in hysterics. The song about Potiphar making all his money in Pyramid Schemes... I was so disappointed a few years ago, seeing the revival with Jason Donovan or someone, and although he was terrible, the play was still magical. Oh, I'm so ashamed, I love an Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical. Oops, sorry, Rock Opera, didn't they call them then?

kate, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I'm joseph (who wasn't)

ed, Saturday, 15 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

another joseph...

all those dreams you had in your pyjamas, were a long range forecast for your farmers, classic ;)

carsmilesteve, Sunday, 16 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

ogden, Sunday, 16 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

nathalie, Sunday, 16 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

ambrose, Sunday, 16 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ms. Feminazi, Monday, 17 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

anthony, Monday, 17 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Tadeusz Suchodolski, Monday, 17 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Arthur, Monday, 17 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

anthony, Monday, 17 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I was Joseph. HOWEVER, In "Joseph" I was Jacob and POTIPHAR. "Potiphar had very few cares/I was one of Egypt's millionares/Having mad a fortune buying shares in pyramids..."
