I was just thinking how good the logos that ppl designed a few months ago were and while I appreciate that some ppl might not think it appropriate to have them actually present on the site, it would be nice to have them on a badge or T-shirt. I particularly like this latest offering from Dee:

If you want to make your own ILX shit then do it, but ILX isn't anything more than a collection of people and a server, it has no aparatus to do such a thing. If you want something with ILX ILX on it, make it.

Also I think aesthetically having no merchandise fits very well with the plain-text, no-logos feel of ILX.

Website merchandise is just one of those things I think is horrible and naff about the Interweb, like 'memes' and purity tests and the word 'newbie' and the acronym ROFL. Like most snobberies this is rooted in fear and hypocrisy but they're my prejudices and I'm sticking to them.
