A few minutes left and the 113th ranked country are tying Germany.
Whats the chances of Spain being held at full time by 111th best country Northern Ireland while we are at it?

Dammit! Germany scores in the 89th minute. Too bad.

Ha, Germany have gone shit (like, they could only draw with Scotland at the weekend).

Our group still quite open then...

OK, so Germany might have scored again in the 90th minute, but for 88 minutes, it was a great result for us...

Unlike the 3-0 Iceland win over Lithuania.

Germany might have scored again in the 90th minute

this means that they did but I just didn't express it very well

What was the comment during the World Cup: "You play against Germany for 90 minutes and then you lose."

I think it was Gary Lineker's definition of football: It is a game of two halves of 45 minutes and in the end the Germans win.

Two months without football now.

Germany have been dross for some time - they seem to really take the enjoyment out of international football, the only frisson of excitement comes from Miroslav Klose's goal celebration somersault. its staggering to think Germany will qualify for Euro 2004 with no problem while the likes of Spain and Holland could actually lose out if things continue the way they're going.

Football respects boredom shockah.
