I did this once.

In late 2001. (I have zero recollection of the thread other than that I started it, and that I regretted it when my mood chriped up days later... and no, I'm not providing a link to it)

I swear I saw someone do this on a thread yesterday, and in consecutive posts - the "real" poster said something, and then the "fake" poster took the previous post to task.

Hey Dan: don't ask why but I saw the opening minute of an episode of that Jamie Foxx sitcom the other day, and this kid was coming in off the street selling candy for his church of something, except the sole funny joke of the whole thing was that the generic candy was called (I think) Toops, so Jamie bends down and takes one and said, "Okay, kid, I'll buy some of your, umm, Toops." That's not a very good story, but the coincidence was just a bit too much not to share it. Plus it genuinely was funny, cause I don't think I would ever eat an unfamiliar candy product called "Toops."
