I drank the spa water from some place in Yorkshire, it smelt of rotten eggs but it tasted okay.

Ah, now I wouldn't mind having a scanner -- I lived there from 1982 to 1985. :-) Never actually took a bath in the spas but I've tried drinking the water there. Er.

Many memories, good and bad but mostly very good, all tied up in my time there, from 7th to 9th grade, 11 to 14 years old. I'd be interested to see what I think of the place nowadays -- a high end tourist trap in August, its own isolated spot the rest of the time, really. Still, though, it was there I learned to hate snow...forever.

I spent the first year of my life in Ballston Spa! The race track is beautiful, I've been there a bunch of times, though sadly not in recent years.
