Sorry to go all parochial on your asses once more, but I like Trisha best. She'd kill all the above with kindness.

Esther, for she has the biggest teeth: all the better to eat you with.

Oprah VS Jerry for the title.

Since _The Jerry Springer Show_ is only a fitness regiment away from turning into the WWF, I give him the belt after he whacks Ms. Winfrey upside the head with every volume offered by Oprah's Book Club. Dr. Phil, of course, tries to console her, telling her to buck up & face the music - of course, she responds by knocking this cue ball in the side pocket.

Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!

Drown them all like witches.

If Morton Downey Jr were still alive he would kick all their asses.

I don't watch talk shows, but if I did, I'd watch Jerry, nonstop. That's the shit right there.

Kilroy! That white hair/fake tan combo must be a real ladykiller.

Trisha. Her guests really do try to make it like Jerry Springer but fail in a brilliantly British way. Unlike other talk shows that choose a subject for the show, her little caption on screen changes for each set of guests. It's filmed, I think, in Norwich, and they just bus in local students for the audience, so you always get a couple who just want to play up to the cameras to impress their mates. Favourites: the ones who cheer really loudly when everyone else has gone quiet, an update of the classic "who can be the last to clap really loud in school assembly" game.

Maury would win, he'd arrive late with 10 "I was a wimp in high school but now I'm buff" guys and pick of everyone who was left. How old is Maury, his face is way wrinkled, too much time under the sunbed per chance?

Maury Povich? I thought he was dead. Oh no, wait, that was...um...Morton Downey, that's it.

I have been watching Jerry Springer since about 1992. The weird thing is, when he first started, he out-sensitived Phil Donahue. I mean, there has been a subtle change getting worse as the thing has slowly snowballed since then, (Ricki Lake's former anything goes style influenced a lot worse) but it was just about overnight- I think after Geraldo got punched by skinheads- that Jerry turned to the all-brawling all-punching white trash fest that it is today. Bizzare how the most sensitive talkie on TV turned to the trashiest. And yet still brilliant.

I don't think anyone will ever outdo Jerry. He has made the Warholian "famous for 15 minutes" dream a sick, scary, demented, yet sheerly brilliant pop art reality.

To get parochial, and what's more, OLD SKOOOL, on yo asses, Mavis Nicholson is the greatest talk show host who ever lived.

Rowdy Roddy Piper, towards the end of his WWF career, ran a chat show segment. So did the late, great Adrian Adonis. These obviously turned into fights more often (and less convincingly) than a Jerry Springer show. Adonis to survive, I reckon.

Oprah would be ruthless in a fight. She'd rip them apart, they wouldn't have a chance against her.
