So someone say Irish, and everyone thinks of Ronan? Ronan "not even on the users board, that's how much he loves you" Fitzgerald?

Gah! What does a guy have to do to get blown around here?

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Monday, 23 June 2003 12:39 (twenty-two years ago)

So you're coming for the FAP or what?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 23 June 2003 13:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Either that or that's a pretty good photoshop job of a plane ticket!

Ally (mlescaut), Monday, 23 June 2003 14:03 (twenty-two years ago)

You can tell if you look closely that it's actually DV's ticket. I have spoiled his surprise.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Monday, 23 June 2003 14:07 (twenty-two years ago)

WHA?? don't tell me you're foolin'!

teeny (teeny), Monday, 23 June 2003 15:40 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't know whether you're telling me not to tell you that I'm fooling when I said I was coming, by saying DV is coming, or not to tell you that I'm fooling when I said DV is coming, by telling you that no really, I'm coming.

I mean, I'll need some guidance here.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Monday, 23 June 2003 21:28 (twenty-two years ago)

that confused the hell out of me. That was also more coming in a sentence than you usually see outside of porn. Just tell me whose company I can expect in NYC!

teeny (teeny), Monday, 23 June 2003 21:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Er, me. (I had prepared evasions for everything except a direct question there). I'll be in town from the 4th to the 12th. I have a bunch of other people to see as well, so I can hang around with them some of the time. And if the 4th turns into a rolling party that covers the next 8 days, that's cool too.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Monday, 23 June 2003 22:15 (twenty-two years ago)

You're quite welcome, Chris - hope it was tasty!

I'm Passing Open Windows (Ms Laura), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 00:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Andrew, that's awesome! If you bring stereotypical Irish souvenirs for me, I'll buy you a drink.

Ally (mlescaut), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 01:12 (twenty-two years ago)

Q: So were you going to announce this at any time?

A: Not at any time, just when it was funny.

Q: So if Ally hadn't offered to blow you by July 4th, you'd have just turned up to the FAP as a surprise guest?

A: Well yeah. But seriously, what are the chances of that?

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 08:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Ally (who now hates me): Will do! Packing stereotypical irish shit means that I'll room for the stereotypical NYC shit to bring back.

claddagh rings v. tiffany rings.
i know which wins there.

angela (angela), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 14:19 (twenty-two years ago)

I wish I was actually as mad as Andrew and was going to this FAP.

when I was in the Lebanon (my traditonal begining of boring story) there were loads of ads for some alcoholic beverage called Irish Dream or something. No one in Ireland has ever heard of this product, and amusingly it is prepared in the Bekaa valley.

DV (dirtyvicar), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 18:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Technically I didn't say I was going to blow anyone.

Ally (mlescaut), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 18:50 (twenty-two years ago)

That's a hell of a technicality. But you are duty-bound to make sure I don't leave unblown. (cue wacky hi-jinks).

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 20:46 (twenty-two years ago)
