Quick check out my online novel before it's wiped from the face of the earth

Two years ago I wrote The Sanchez Report for brainevent.com, a website we started for 11-18-year-olds. I wrote one chapter a week for just about all of 2001, and it's been up on the site since then, being read by the best and brightest teenagers in the world.

But we had a meeting yesterday and decided that it's a-gonna come down soon, maybe. So this is my last chance for other people to read it, if you have any patience for a 240-page online novel about a h.s. freshman nerd who tries to take down the 1000-year-old cult that's destroying his town....

Oh and it's SO NOT BUFFY. I've only watched that show like four times, and hadn't watched it at all when I wrote the damned thing. So Buffy-hataz relax, Buffy-lovaz calm down, everyone just chill. Comments (harsh and tender) are always appreciated.

from author's bio "was once the Head-to-Head Haiku Slam Champion of North America"

Now I'd be bragging if I could put that on my resume.

But it's true! I emerged triumphant from the bitterly-contested playoffs in the Nat'l Poetry Slam in Ann Arbor, 1995. The next year I got hosed by a judge who apparently favored quality.

I'll start a haiku thread sometime but not now.
