Scott Walker produced...?

A few years ago I fwas looking through random websites that were talking about Scott Walker - this was just before he curated Meltdown - and there was a link somewhere to a band that he had worked with at that time, and this band was allowing a free download of their song, "Stone Dead."

Well, the song sounded pretty good (a bit of Bowie, Suede, and very Scott Walker), but a few years later I only have the song on a CD mix I made, without the band's name. And, suffice to say, I still like the song and I'd like to look for an album. But I have no names and my googling is coming up with a true needle in the haystack. Does this ring any bells for anyone?

If the title is correct, it isn't a Pulp song, though the description does sound kind of Pulp.

I'm fairly sure it's Balcony. Though not produced by Scott Walker, he sounds a lot like Bowie and Walker and has a song called Stonedead.

I feel so ashamed for not having any information whatsoever regarding this. I will have to up my Santeria sacrifices to Scott to make up for it.

No, definitely not Pulp. I think it's Balcony, too (it sounds right to my memory - thanks Melissa!), but there's not alot out there about them on the web, and like I said, this is the only song I have. I wonder where it came from that I remember this song as having been produced by Scott? And are the rest of their songs this good? I mean, it's pretty outstanding, especially for a band that seems to have disappeared.

Okay, I found a good and proper site. I'm not sure what this is doing to my expectations, but there it is: http://www.balconymusic.com/music.htm
