Did you ever make new friends and then had to go back home and maybe you will never see them again? It's sad.

This is the story of my life.

Millions of times. Luckily I live in an incestuous little city where I'll see them next week on the street and if I feel like it and i can go up and say "HELLO", or not bother, cos we'll be drunk at some party within 2/3 months at the outside, anyway. There is ONE person like this I miss, but she doesn't seem to socialise that much (so when she does we'll coincide) and anyway the whole thing was a bit creepy, her boyfriend said she should fuck me. Where do you live, Nairn?

My mate Dan is just about to finish his year's contract as a lecturer at the uni. Not only is he a good lecturer, he is a FUCKING DIAMOND MAN, absolutely wonderful, generous, great taste, incredibly funny, thoughtful, intelligent, etcetera. The site of him wandering up the hill to uni at 7.45am in a suit jacket and jeans listening to Public Enemy at volumes designed to stun cattle will be sorely missed.
