Does iCommune involve hippies?

It's like a hippy group, but it's got an 'i' before it meaning it's exciting and modern! Were there e-communes a few years ago?

OK iCommune is easy. I'm noit going to post my real email here but you know what it is. Mail me and I'll trade IP's with you all.

2 ways of doing it. there's the 401ok app and iCommune itself. I prefer iCommune because it allows non iTunes/ma cuser to access tunes.

fire up iTunes and fire up iCommune

click sharing settins in iCommune. choose the iTunes folder in the lower box. in the sharing location type /Music. Click start sharing.

Go to system preferences. Click the sharing button and choose. Set Personal Web Sharing to on. start personal file sharing. under firelwall. Allow personal web sharing (and anything else you need). Start the firewall.

Now back in iCommune click the + sign. in the location type http://127.0.0.1/Music give it a name and click OK. Click update. Now, as a playlist in iTunes, you should see all you tunes.

other people can see your tunes using iCommune or through their web browser, the address will be http://yourip/Music or your assigned domain name. Look under the sharing tab for your network address for your ip/domain.

Mail me to to get my IP addy to try this out.
