Me, I'm not even sure what it is. Blog? Is that short for "web log"? Anyway, I got one called Nude Spock: The Blog and boy, is it taking off! Where/what are your "blogs"?

Nude Spock, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Floating in superspace. There is only one entry. I soon realized that I have nothing to say. Then I found ILE and decided this was going to be my blog. ;-)

nathalie, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Oh, I don't know. I think if I keep up the quality of my entries on par with what I've shared with the world so far, I'm sure to have repeat visitors. ya just got to take advantage of free services.

Nude Spock, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Do you think the readership of blogs is high? I think 99 percent of the blogs only have one reader: the author. ;-) The reason I don't have a blog (or rather discontinued the blog) is because I want to move the attention away from *me*.

nathalie, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Like all unfinished projects, I keep starting new ones and forgetting to finish them. I'm trying to get a group of friends to do one regarding the recent events, but they are too reluctant.

jason, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I usually get as far as the first paragraph of the first page and then check out the guy's links. Blogs are useless. Mine will be no exception! Mine will be more useless than most!

Nude Spock, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Some blogs are pretty good actually.

rezna, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

everything has an audience. If I ever make another blog entry it will be extremely long. I might write it in rough first.

jel, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

My blog has had over 300 hits, which is surprising since I haven't updated it since July. I'll take this opportunity to announce that my blog in it's current form is now dead, I won't be updating it anymore. But a brand new one, a team effort with the divine LC and possibly the evil CR will be up once the other two return to university and regular internet access. Thanks everyone who read my blog, and rest assured the new one will be the best blog ever.
Possibly.

I've thought about starting a blog, partially because I'm an egomaniac, and want to post pictures of myself, talk endlessly about myself, and hopefully entice cute young rocker boys to want to date me. I'm too lazy to actually do it, I think.

Sean, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Eh, I just want a place that I can fill with endless links, categorized and archived for me by some unknown, cost-free entity! :-) I've always wanted a diary/journal, too. If I put it on the net, it's safer than getting one with a lock on it! People love to pry open locked diaries. The blogger.com site is pretty easy to use for people who don't want to store anything on their harddrives or bother with ftping html files and scripting an archive.

Nude Spock, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I use livejournal.com but everything even mildly possibly approaching interesting that I write is on "private" or "friends only" due to fear of my mother finding out anything at all about me.

While I'm sure you're irresistible in person, Sean, IME all you typically get (in addition to friends and family, of course) is the same small collection of geeks who habitually check up on you. Unless you have the time to do something *really* attractive and informative. I mean, I actually like browsing them from time to time, but I'm not a regular reader of strangers' websites unless they're actual information sites, or have *really* good writing.

Hester Warthog, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

And I'm pissed, because I was hoping to finally see Spock nude! Those tight velours just don't give you a good enough idea...

Kerry, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I'm planning on doing something about that when I get more time. For now, I think the picture says it all. Spock does not like clothes.

Nude spock, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

People aren't being very forthcoming with URL's. Shy?

Nude SPock, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

If I post the URL for my blog one more time, people are gonna stop calling me "Dan" and start calling me "Link Ho".

Dan Perry, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Wow, I got scared when I saw your entry for today, Dan. Thanks for the support, but I can't promise there will be one ounce of sarcasm or one iota of hilarity. * I'm just keepin' it real, yo... real half-assed!

*According to ethan, I'm "dave q without the humor".

Nude Spock, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Me & Duane

maryann, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I think I've already been deemed a Link Ho by some folks here, but fuck it. I trust that y'all have taken the "daver@" off my e-mail address and seen what pops up in your respective browsers. If you haven't - well, poo on thee.

David Raposa, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Actually, Dave, you might be pleased to know I went to popshots.org today and saw "bloggo" and somehow found blogger and realized it might be worth the effort to figure out how to do it. I'm glad I did. I'm already having fun jotting down things I don't want to forget. Popshots.org looks perty, by the way.

Nude SPock, Tuesday, 18 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

One problem is a keep re-editing it once it's up because I was so half-assed the first time. I take it the rest of you make sure it's how you want it before you actually upload it. Ah well.

Nude Spock, Wednesday, 19 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Kerry, Spock is nude all over the place now. See?

Nude Spock, Wednesday, 19 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

i kind of had a blog it was at http://www.geocities.com/ambrose_in_russia/home.html
