at last the general public can redeem themselves, vote Jon back in the house!

stevem (blueski), Friday, 11 July 2003 18:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Vote LISA straight back in.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 11 July 2003 18:57 (twenty-two years ago)

(I fear Sissy has queered her own pitch with the 'cheeky scouse wit' line)

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 11 July 2003 18:58 (twenty-two years ago)

voting lisa straight back in WOULD be funnier but jon it must be

mark s (mark s), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Tickle's had his turn.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:01 (twenty-two years ago)

i think the whole thing is a bad idea. i hate fun.

koogs (koogs), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:02 (twenty-two years ago)

If only Lisa were another one with an identical twin. Send them both in! 'Cut off the hydra's head and another two grow in its place'

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:03 (twenty-two years ago)

i can't even remember the names of any of the others except lisa and tickle

mark s (mark s), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:04 (twenty-two years ago)

ANOUSHKA! She is FOXY ROWR!

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:05 (twenty-two years ago)

She is in Australia ensnaring men.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:06 (twenty-two years ago)

No-one is even going to think about voting for Gos or Justine are they? I would miss Jon and Fed's double act on RI:SE if either of them went back in.

Put Lisa back in.

ailsa (ailsa), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:06 (twenty-two years ago)

but the Tickler has worn a suit and everything

stevem (blueski), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:12 (twenty-two years ago)

Davina said they can't win tho so it does seem a tad pointless. and are they able to tell the other housemates what's been going on in the real world or not?

stevem (blueski), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:13 (twenty-two years ago)

I have no idea what you nerds are talking about, but I like the sounds of this Tickler.

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Lisa was all about the money so maybe she won't want to go back in. Steve, no they can't talk about the outside world. In fact they have to deny it even exists.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:14 (twenty-two years ago)

i was wondering about that. maybe they are just forbidden from telling the truth about the outside world but are allowed (encouraged even) to lie through their teeth 8)

andy

koogs (koogs), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:16 (twenty-two years ago)

steve said the real world not this "outside world" whatever that may be

mark s (mark s), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Is this some kind of Platonic symposium?

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:21 (twenty-two years ago)

hahaha...best freudian slip i've made in the last hour

stevem (blueski), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Jon's re-entrance was great - "I'm gonna mix it up", " you won't recognise me in the house", "Cameron and I are gonna have some serious chats" etc. - lets hope so

stevem (blueski), Friday, 11 July 2003 20:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Humph - that walk would have been even better if it had been Lisa though.

Tickle's crucifixion pose in the frisking was great though.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 11 July 2003 20:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Loved Jon's entrance back in the house: "Evening".

The reactions from the others veer from being perplexed, grinning nervously and looking as sick as a parrot.

This could be fantastic.

Ben Mott (Ben Mott), Friday, 11 July 2003 20:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Send them all back in.

Cozen (Cozen), Friday, 11 July 2003 20:57 (twenty-two years ago)

"thanks Keith, see you in two weeks!" he said to the surly security guard.

Scott didnt look happy when Jon said he'd seen all the diary room conversations and stuff said behind his back...

stevem (blueski), Friday, 11 July 2003 20:57 (twenty-two years ago)

Tickle torture!

Nicole (Nicole), Friday, 11 July 2003 20:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Good god, HOW LONG can Cameron bang on about his African experiences? Everyone on the sofas looks like they're abt to pass out through boredom.

RickyT (RickyT), Friday, 11 July 2003 22:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Ha ha - Jon's desperate change of subject - "Steph - your hair's grown".

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 11 July 2003 22:49 (twenty-two years ago)

The producers got so bored they switched the cameras and sound mix to Scott and Nush even though they weren't saying anything.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 11 July 2003 22:50 (twenty-two years ago)

No one is interested you twat! SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!

(steph has just done a yawn worthy of one of them yawning monkeys that Hanley doesn't like [not mandrills, the other ones])

RickyT (RickyT), Friday, 11 July 2003 22:50 (twenty-two years ago)

I've given up on it -he's not still going on is he?

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 11 July 2003 22:52 (twenty-two years ago)

It's finally stopped. But he has surely ensured his nomination for next week.

RickyT (RickyT), Friday, 11 July 2003 22:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Sadly most voters are out enjoying themselves rather than sitting through the torture of the Cameron anecdote live feed marathon. Amateurs.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 11 July 2003 22:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh aye, but if his nomination by the housemates for next week's vote was at all in doubt his ramble has made it a foregone conclusion, no?

RickyT (RickyT), Friday, 11 July 2003 23:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Cameron or Ray to go next week - maybe both

stevem (blueski), Friday, 11 July 2003 23:04 (twenty-two years ago)

They don't need to get rid of two as Jon is just there for fun.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 11 July 2003 23:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Good god, HOW LONG can Cameron bang on about his African experiences?

Be fair, it *is* probably the most interesting to ever happen to him in his entire life ever.

caitlin (caitlin), Saturday, 12 July 2003 09:01 (twenty-two years ago)

When Jon said he wanted a little Boys chat and that this would lead to the exclusion of Nush from the bedroom:

Nush, muffled: Bbbbut what about....
Scott: don't worry, it'll happen / we'll do that another night.

I think they might have been planning to sleep (you know the thing you do between bouts of sex and living) together.

Cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 12 July 2003 09:38 (twenty-two years ago)

Is anyone interested in Cameron's secret?

N. (nickdastoor), Saturday, 12 July 2003 12:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Cameron.

Cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 12 July 2003 13:02 (twenty-two years ago)

What would be quite clever is if Jon and the Big Brother producers manage to keep it a secret from the contestants that Jon isn't actually going to be allowed to win it - so if anyone who nominate Jon to go out again next week, automatically gets themselves put up for nomination.

This could work if it's kept a secret that Jon isn't playing the game anyone because we all know that Channel 4 wants as many people up for eviction as possible - more phone votes that way - and with this ploy they could easily get all five contestants up for the vote.

James Mitchell (James Mitchell), Saturday, 12 July 2003 13:09 (twenty-two years ago)

If you're not with Tickle then you're out? No, I don't think that's going to happen.

N. (nickdastoor), Saturday, 12 July 2003 13:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Much though I like Jon, I'm not keen to have him back in. The producers seem to have lost faith in their concept. Just leave these people alone and things will happen. Curved balls distract from the Hobbesiananigans.
