Seriously, does anyone know? I mean, if I'm going to be accused of anti-Americanism, I'd like to know what I'm up against. What do Americanists believe? And what makes them different from plain old Americans?

quick answer: there is no answer, any definition of 'Americanism' that can be offerred, the opposite definition would be equally true.
