Chriddof (Chriddof), Sunday, 13 July 2003 12:50 (twenty-two years ago)

there's a clip of the video for Graffiti on the rubbishly designed/managed video-c.co.uk - the accompanying blurb says its not by Mike Skinner but by an Italian producer, and the vocalist is a friend of Skinner's label boss - hmmmmmmmmmm...

stevem (blueski), Sunday, 13 July 2003 13:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Has Ronan turned into Huey Lewis?

Nicole (Nicole), Sunday, 13 July 2003 14:02 (twenty-two years ago)

all signs point to yes

stevem (blueski), Sunday, 13 July 2003 14:04 (twenty-two years ago)

I was thinking it could be a "what does this phrase mean to you" thread but the joke versions of those have been patented already really.

That's so cruel.

Nicole (Nicole), Sunday, 13 July 2003 14:25 (twenty-two years ago)

No I kinda like Dada, posting the same pic all over the place is really an improvement though.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Sunday, 13 July 2003 14:26 (twenty-two years ago)

I like to say I don't like dada.

RJG (RJG), Sunday, 13 July 2003 14:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Sunday, 13 July 2003 14:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Sunday, 13 July 2003 14:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Dada, Sunday, 13 July 2003 20:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Are we at the banning dada stage yet?

Mark C (Mark C), Sunday, 13 July 2003 21:15 (twenty-two years ago)

i have never laughed at anything Dada has posted...well not enough to make it worth his or anyone else's while

stevem (blueski), Sunday, 13 July 2003 22:41 (twenty-two years ago)

IT'S OVER

Orbit (Orbit), Monday, 14 July 2003 06:24 (twenty-two years ago)

what you talking about? that michael stipe pic is way funny

gareth (gareth), Monday, 14 July 2003 07:58 (twenty-two years ago)

what are all you all talking abt? the pic in this thread is great. as long as he doesn't post pics of a big size then its fine.

(and some posters do think he's funny)

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Monday, 14 July 2003 09:41 (twenty-two years ago)

wow. i love the first half of the thread. but that's just because i love huey.

colette (a2lette), Monday, 14 July 2003 09:58 (twenty-two years ago)

this thread was not supposed to be about Huey Duey & Lewis

stevem (blueski), Monday, 14 July 2003 10:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Dada hasn't posted anything with malicious code or of ludicrous size since he was asked not to, so I see no case against him at all, let alone any basis for considering a ban.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Monday, 14 July 2003 16:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Dada, Monday, 14 July 2003 16:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Okay, I'll continue to find him dull, invasive and unimaginative on my own then.

Mark C (Mark C), Monday, 14 July 2003 16:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Try surfing this site on a slow computer or connection Martin.

Are we at the banning dada stage yet?

We havent even got our act together enough to ban Calum. Dada's annoyance is nowhere near that little buggers level.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Monday, 14 July 2003 16:46 (twenty-two years ago)

If your connection is that slow, why wouldn't you already have image loading turned off?

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Monday, 14 July 2003 17:52 (twenty-two years ago)

My connection at home is fine, my computer isn't.
And when viewing ILX at home I do have to turn off images constantly now or at least stop the page downloading after a minute or so.
I can only image what the hell it would be like on a modem.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Monday, 14 July 2003 18:01 (twenty-two years ago)

I usually keep images turned off anyway so that I don't get busted for goofing off at work.

Lars (Nicole), Monday, 14 July 2003 18:19 (twenty-two years ago)

I am on a very slow connection at home - but I can think of half a dozen images bigger than any of dada's that I've seen (and I read over 90% of threads) in the last several days.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Monday, 14 July 2003 19:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Its the number of them that foobars my computer.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Monday, 14 July 2003 19:17 (twenty-two years ago)

i've posted bigger images myself - but only on those gargantuan FAP or look-like threads where its become customary

i don't think Dada should be banned - i was just echoing Mark C's complaint that his posts are more irritating and useless than they are amusing, but that would just be my irritating, useless opinion i guess, so carry on

stevem (blueski), Monday, 14 July 2003 19:23 (twenty-two years ago)

I am on a 56k modem and Dada's pictures rarely take any time to appear at all. I guess a higher number of pics of reasonable size must be more of a processor issue than a connection speed one.
