The popcorn you're eating has been pissed in. Film at 11.

Millar (Millar), Thursday, 24 July 2003 21:03 (twenty-two years ago)

I saw this movie when I was very very young. Let's just say I was changed forever.

Carey (Carey), Thursday, 24 July 2003 21:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Still grand, still wrong, very much of its time but it still works. Have to say that the DVD commentary track wasn't all that, though.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 24 July 2003 21:37 (twenty-two years ago)

you are a lover of extraordinary magnitude. you have my gratitude.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Thursday, 24 July 2003 21:39 (twenty-two years ago)

The weirdest thing about this movie is how totally hot the last skit is. Am I wrong?

Millar (Millar), Thursday, 24 July 2003 21:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Is the last skit the one with the big booby woman and the videotape date?

Carey (Carey), Thursday, 24 July 2003 21:54 (twenty-two years ago)

I love that there's an actor out there with "Extremely Large Genitals" on his resumé.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Thursday, 24 July 2003 21:56 (twenty-two years ago)

I am in love with No Soul Simmons.

Carey (Carey), Thursday, 24 July 2003 21:57 (twenty-two years ago)

the last skit is the one with the news crew all going insane watching this young couple get it on on the sofa. Fucking brilliant.

Millar (Millar), Thursday, 24 July 2003 21:58 (twenty-two years ago)

I've never seen this. Wake me when you get to "Amazon Women on the Moon"

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Thursday, 24 July 2003 22:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Wait, we just did, No Soul isn't in KFM.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Thursday, 24 July 2003 22:02 (twenty-two years ago)

did you ever see the KFM wannabe from the same period called The Groove Tube starring people like Chevy Chase and Rich Belzer?

chaki (chaki), Thursday, 24 July 2003 23:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Rex Kramer, Danger Seeker!!!

svend, Thursday, 24 July 2003 23:30 (twenty-two years ago)

and the capital of Nebraska is LINCOLN.

Millar (Millar), Thursday, 24 July 2003 23:34 (twenty-two years ago)

and Donald Sutherland as the clumsy waiter!

last skit is indeed quite hot.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Thursday, 24 July 2003 23:59 (twenty-two years ago)

and Donald Sutherland as the clumsy waiter!

last skit is indeed quite hot. So is the squeaky shower fun stuff.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Thursday, 24 July 2003 23:59 (twenty-two years ago)

oh yeah, i guess I get those 2 movies confused. KFM and Amazon Women

Carey (Carey), Friday, 25 July 2003 00:52 (twenty-two years ago)

The scene in the Bruce Lee parody where the room is bugged still gets me.

Girolamo Savonarola, Friday, 25 July 2003 04:11 (twenty-two years ago)

Christ, did a cow shit in here?

oops (Oops), Friday, 25 July 2003 04:16 (twenty-two years ago)

haha i love that skit but my fav is the "show me your nuts"

james (james), Friday, 25 July 2003 07:29 (twenty-two years ago)

oh and the fact that rarely a day goes by where i dont say consentwaite

james (james), Friday, 25 July 2003 07:30 (twenty-two years ago)

"Luckily, this record comes equipped with BIG JIM SLADE."

nickalicious (nickalicious), Friday, 25 July 2003 13:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Nickalicious of course is his own Big Jim Slade.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 25 July 2003 13:45 (twenty-two years ago)

are you aware of
the penal code in this state?
(watched it with my dad)

Haikunym, Friday, 25 July 2003 14:57 (twenty-two years ago)

It seems a shockingly long time since this was on TV here in the UK.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Friday, 25 July 2003 20:00 (twenty-two years ago)

I too saw it at a relatively young age, watching along with my parents and was irreperably changed. Probably for the better. Amazon Women doesn't have a patch on KFM (DM).

Matt Maxwell (Matt M.), Saturday, 26 July 2003 17:13 (twenty-two years ago)

three months pass...
Believe it or not, I just saw this for the first time last night, and even for someone who didn't see it at an early age, it holds up well. I was laughing pretty much through the whole thing. For some reason, my favorite part was the "High Adventure" interview with all the boom mike jokes, especially then the mike keeps swinging back and forth and hitting them in the head over and over again.

NA (Nick A.), Saturday, 8 November 2003 13:29 (twenty-two years ago)

*man gets decapitated*

"TAKE HIM TO BE TORTURED!!"

(my favorite scene!!)

Ernest P. (ernestp), Saturday, 8 November 2003 18:43 (twenty-two years ago)

I still vote for Donald Sutherland as the clumsy waiter.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Saturday, 8 November 2003 19:06 (twenty-two years ago)

"I think we should all give him a hand."
"Hand?!"

Girolamo Savonarola, Saturday, 8 November 2003 19:35 (twenty-two years ago)

nine years pass...

So anyway the Dissolve has launched and guess what one of their first pieces is about...

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 10 July 2013 20:26 (twelve years ago)

"Show me your nuts" still the best joke ever written, proven by science.

the SI unit of ignorance (Noodle Vague), Wednesday, 10 July 2013 20:32 (twelve years ago)

seven years pass...

Never saw this til today. As 'uneven' as advertised, but strangely i find it backloaded -- most of the funny stuff is from the last scenes of the kung fu spoof and after. (particularly "Zinc Oxide" and the JFK asassination game)

brooklyn suicide cult (Dr Morbius), Thursday, 23 July 2020 21:53 (five years ago)

Morbz praises movie made after 1960, film at 11

A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Thursday, 23 July 2020 21:59 (five years ago)

i think "show me your nuts" is in the first half tho so

À la recherche du scamps perdu (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 23 July 2020 21:59 (five years ago)

laugh would come from the first decade of my life

brooklyn suicide cult (Dr Morbius), Thursday, 23 July 2020 22:08 (five years ago)

I remember in high school watching the 1987 Kentucky Fried Movie rip-off 'Outtakes'

The Mandymoorian (Whiney G. Weingarten), Thursday, 23 July 2020 22:11 (five years ago)

NEVER BEFORE HAS THE BEAUTY OF THE SEXUAL ACT BEEN SO CRASSLY EXPLOITED

Its big ball chunky time (Jimmy The Mod Awaits The Return Of His Beloved), Thursday, 23 July 2020 22:13 (five years ago)

How are all these other KFM-style sketch movies?

The Mandymoorian (Whiney G. Weingarten), Thursday, 23 July 2020 22:17 (five years ago)

think i've only seen Amazon Women which had a few good jokes iirc, long time since i've seen it tho

À la recherche du scamps perdu (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 23 July 2020 22:18 (five years ago)

i'm a fan of they very un-KFM-like If I Had a Million (1932) and Pierre Etaix's As Long As You've Got Your Health (1966).

brooklyn suicide cult (Dr Morbius), Thursday, 23 July 2020 22:22 (five years ago)

and Mr Mike's Mondo Video has several huge laughs, for me

brooklyn suicide cult (Dr Morbius), Thursday, 23 July 2020 22:23 (five years ago)

Yeah, my local video store has Mr. Mikes, I gotta check it out finally

The Mandymoorian (Whiney G. Weingarten), Thursday, 23 July 2020 22:44 (five years ago)

The Groove Tube is uneven as well... very. Probably the best part is the last scene when the director dances through the streets of NYC singing the jazz standard "Just You, Just Me"

"

I was 11 when I saw it.

A White, White Gay (cryptosicko), Friday, 24 July 2020 02:28 (five years ago)

Is this the only character/gag/scene that crops up in both Airplane! *and* this?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sVlZ_SaKnk

piscesx, Friday, 24 July 2020 06:02 (five years ago)

It was nice to see the raging control-tower queen from Airplane! show up as a court stenographer in KFM.
