Is it really sad that my friend and I often speak to each other in faux-Jamacian rasta accents?

YOU FASSYMAN WIT DA CHICHI SEX TRUS!

Tad (llamasfur), Friday, 1 August 2003 03:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Andrew, that is the saddest thing a person can do. Or is there anything sadder? I leave the question open, and am ready to be enlightened.

However, to admit to it and then ask if it's sad - now _that_ is somehow rather cool.

The hard lads at my school used to speak a mixture of Jamaican patois and Shakespearean English.

When I had a holiday in Jamaica a couple of years ago the hotel offered lessons in "Jamaican patios". Presumably a lot of builders holidayed there.

Me and my sister still both imitate the accent of this lame french canadian guy we used to know.

Anyone speak one of those African tribal click languages?

-- Kissin' Kate (Kate9...), August 1st, 2003.

A friend of mine produced a lovely record for a click language (whatever it was I didn't know - *click*kung or something) singer - he has an enormous problem with microphone pop.
