Did Miami Vice go musical at one point?

I need you to settle an argument. I'm sure I saw a couple of episodes where charatcers actually broke into song. It may have been the producers getting desparate near the end of the series, or I may have been hallucinating. Please help.

miami vice goes musical=desperate.

buffy does the same=genius.

I have no idea, btw, but if you find out there were any lyrics written to crockett's theme, let me know.

I think you're talking about Cop Rock.

What J said--Cop Rock was a failed Bochco project that I unfortunately never saw.

Thank you J. Yes, I was thinking about Cop Rock. I lose that argument. My God, I would love to see a repeat episode of Cop Rock right now.

I can't believe Cop Rock managed to get canceled. The one episode I saw had this big musical number in the court room (the jury acting as the chorus, dancing baliffs moving across the floor, judge up on her desk, etc). Truly a classic moment in television.

Cop Rock was completely insane in a great way. It was cancelled too soon!

I think I still have a Cop Rock poster I got for free out of Rolling Stone somewhere. I bet it's worth MILLIONS on Ebay.
