I would always miss what the "mission" was in Mission: Impossible, so from my POV I'd only see when they were messing with some random person. I was too young to understand any of the plots so for the longest time I thought they were a team of high-tech international bad guys that would win in every episode. I thought it was a great show, seeing that the "bad guys" would actually win and get away in the end.
