Next Big Xtian Craze...?

Xtianity's been a bit deficient lately in coming up with extremist mystical millenarian cults, and it's starting to tell on them. There's been stuff like Waco, but those cults haven't had any staying power or prestige among any non-trailer residents (i.e. no interest whatever from chattering classes). Do any offshoots of Xtianity have the potential to rival Wahhabi Islam or Ultra-Ultra-Ultra-Orthodox (don't know the correct name) Judaism? And if not, why not?

Unlikely as they will be represented as the no fun sideboard wearing celtic fringe dwellers. Which of course they are.
You go to Stornoway today you'll find all the childrens swings locked up, in case they go and have some non christian fun.

Here's your answer, from a BBC article about recent changes to the global stats cock:

Fuck, that's frightening! Listen everybody, you've got a job - if some pollster asks you "Who is the greatest figure ever etc etc", JUST SAY BRITNEY! If that's what it takes to unseat fucking Nostradamus. Now the Western World really look like idiots.

dave q, Sunday, 23 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Of course "polls" say that. "Polls" ARE Nostradamus.

Weird thing is, that's the first picture of Britney I've ever seen where she actually looks sorta attractive. Momus comes through again!

I wonder if the Left Behind crowd will try and work in 9/11 somehow if they haven't already.

Thing I learned from CD:UK - Britney's spoken voice is v.like that of Bobby Hill off of King Of The Hill.
