i see the thing 2x a week, on the NYC-Philly and back again commute (hey! that's my excuse for not FAPping -- until December, any way).

anyway, it comes from a time when Trenton was a manufacturing, blue-collar mill town. it was a civic pride-thing, the city slogan. (or so i'm told by a friend who was born and raised in Trenton.)
