i used to think he was funny as a kid. i watched Up The Elephant & Round The Castle, i loved Home James, i even went to see Big Break being filmed at BBC TV Centre. this was all many years ago before the miracle reverse-lobotomy i guess.

He attempted to sexually assault my ex-wife once. She set the police on him, since he drove off in his Rolls in an obviously drunk state, and he lost his licence. Hurrah!

It's all relative: compared to Richard Digance (with whom he has appeared) Jim Davidson is a laugh-a-minute. Comedy folk singers - where's the humour there? (Cf Mike Harding)

just caught a glimpse of jim davidson on 'hells kitchen' or whatever the fuck.

he and brian from big brother (from ages ago, not the new one) are beefing.

jim is being a homophobe, apparently.

he says not, he says "to me gay means Good As You".

what does that even mean?

A couple of times Davidson has mimicked both McGuigan's and Dowling's accents when quoting them - except both times it's exactly the same Jim Davidson's Irishman Impression. Bit embarassing.
