not screen media, but I must mention that great old comics artist Carmine Infantino was a huge monkey fan. Gorilla Grodd in the Flash, a really good ape villain, all sorts of apes all over everything he did, and 'best' of all, Detective Chimp => he deserves praise wherever monkey entertainment is discussed.
