Suckage. First thing I remember him in, believe it or not -- History of the World Part I. I remember my mom being surprised that I knew what the whole "Jewish, huh?" joke was about at age ten.

There's a story, if I remember correctly, about Hines going to Robert Evans's house and tap-dancing on his dining room table to get the role in The Cotton Club.

Gregory Hines will be missed. He still had quite a few good years left in him.
