Glenn Beck talked about this kingdom for about fifteen minutes during his radio program some three or four months ago. It really made me think about how influential TV can be, but then I thought that TV had only been influential in this case because they didn't have the experience necessary to shut off the "TV watching" portion of their brains when they went out into their real lives.

I disagree with the "pursuit of happiness" being a stupid idea. It is a perfectly honorable thing so long as you don't sell out your soul in the process. I think I've based the large bulk of my life on the basis of the "pursuit of happiness", and certainly if I'd wanted to be UNhappy I'd never have applied to college in the first place, instead wallowing about in my room like a degenerate pig. *smile*
