Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 11:01 (twenty-two years ago)

num!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 11:01 (twenty-two years ago)

I am chewing gum, which was preceded by a tuna and tomato baguette and an apple.

Archel (Archel), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 11:08 (twenty-two years ago)

I am about to chew gum, bcause it struck me this morning that my problem is not that I want food in my stomach but rather in my mouth.

Nick Southall (Nick Southall), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 11:16 (twenty-two years ago)

It's the best slimming aid I've ever tried, that's for sure. (If you don't like the flavour of gum you can also just chew some food around for a while then spit it out, but this is less socially acceptable.)

Archel (Archel), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 11:19 (twenty-two years ago)

medium meat supreme on italian thin base, tuesday is my pizza day - its lush

stevem (blueski), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 11:20 (twenty-two years ago)

You have set days for food Steve?

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 11:23 (twenty-two years ago)

I ordered two rolls of this cheese mix thang with butter and salad. The bread girl said, "do you want butter?" then she said, "do you want salad?"

To test whether she was deaf, I said, "Giraffe bollocks" and she blushed. I came away with a swagger in my gait.

G Man, Tuesday, 12 August 2003 11:24 (twenty-two years ago)

G you are indeed the 'Man'! *rolls eyes* ;-)

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 11:32 (twenty-two years ago)

j0e (j0e), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 11:40 (twenty-two years ago)

How did you know I was eating??

I just had a little bit of fruit. Now I'm eating a lemon muffin and drinking coffee.

Sarah McLusky (coco), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 11:45 (twenty-two years ago)

I have heard that chewing gum is a rubbish diet aid as chewing = saliva and when you produce saliva your tummy thinks you are feeding it. So when you don't it gets hungry and pissed off.

I have just eaten some strawberries.

Emma, Tuesday, 12 August 2003 12:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Saliva, yuck! Last time I went to the dentist, he made a big deal about how healthy my saliva glands are. Apparently, they are TOO healthy as the saliva eats away at my teeth or something.

Sarah McLUsky (coco), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 12:10 (twenty-two years ago)

In that case you must be extra careful not to accidentally spit at people when talking to them.

Emma, Tuesday, 12 August 2003 12:11 (twenty-two years ago)

*stands back from sarah*
Emma I am disappointed to note that you are not eating cake!! I thought that would be a cert! :-)

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 12:15 (twenty-two years ago)

Don't worry, I never spit when I talk (or really, ever). Sorry to gross everyone out.

Sarah McLUsky (coco), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 12:17 (twenty-two years ago)

I think Emma is right, but luckily they make gum all minty so you can't eat anything else afterwards anyway because it tastes too weird.

Archel (Archel), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 12:18 (twenty-two years ago)

I haven't had cake in ages! I think the last time was an eclair in Paris on a hen night. (however I cannot be arsed to change my email address though that one probably doesn't work any more.)

Emma, Tuesday, 12 August 2003 12:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Cake is a made up drug

G Man, Tuesday, 12 August 2003 12:20 (twenty-two years ago)

An asiago cheese roll and fresh orange juice. I'm content.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 12:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Pepsi Vanilla, and wishing I hadn't used up my caffeine pills. I need to finish my poli sci final this morning if I want to get any work done.

Chicken thighs are marinating in chile-garlic sauce and a little lemon juice, for lunch or dinner.

Tep (ktepi), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 12:32 (twenty-two years ago)

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 13:07 (twenty-two years ago)

I just had a chocolate creme Oreo. Bad Tep.

Fucking jelly beans again! YUCK!!! POPCORN!!!

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 20:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I am amazed this thread got this many responses without Mark saying "a bag of dicks".

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 20:34 (twenty-two years ago)

I had two potato & egg tacos and a can of Fresca for lunch.

Currently I'm chewing on two sticks of delish Orbit gum.

Tonight for dinner, I *think* I'm going to have something at Red Lobster. Unless I'm mistaken, and then I have to remember what I've been taking to give me such hallucinations.

Bryan, I heard Jelly Bellys are supposed to be rather healthy. Unless you're inhaling a couple dozen boxes of them or something. The popcorn one is all right -- it's nice as a novelty but I like the fruity ones more. Watermelon + cherry = mmmm.

Just Deanna (Dee the Lurker), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 20:34 (twenty-two years ago)

I've had a couple of good handfulls of them today, Dee. Raspberry! YUMMO!!!

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 12 August 2003 20:44 (twenty-two years ago)

A deluxe-oh-tomato ciabatta-y pizza thing, with a 'gingerbread' shape shaped like an ice-cream with a hundredthousand hundreds-and-thousands adorning it to follow.

Alex in Rotherham (Alex in Doncaster), Wednesday, 13 August 2003 11:37 (twenty-two years ago)

ten years pass...

I am eating small slices of store brand Colby cheese on "Super Thin Pretzels."

franklin, Wednesday, 25 June 2014 03:43 (eleven years ago)

They're not really that thin tbh

franklin, Wednesday, 25 June 2014 03:43 (eleven years ago)

ten years pass...

a really good salad

brimstead, Friday, 28 March 2025 02:03 (eleven months ago)

muesli, kefir, banana

massaman gai (front tea for two), Friday, 28 March 2025 07:43 (eleven months ago)

spinach pakoras with some mayo and cucumber. It's from a local independent brand called Spice Cottage, which can be confusing because there are at least a dozen crappy takeaways operating under the same name, and it isn't a chain. But their product is in most shops in this town and they are the best.

vodkaitamin effrtvescent (calzino), Friday, 28 March 2025 08:01 (eleven months ago)

Hazelnut bread, marmalade with stem ginger gotten back from London, coffee and cream, mixed OJ with pure cranberry juice
