I had two job interviews today

They both went extremely well.

The first lot said "well, you're our best candidate but we've got others to interview so we'll call you next week", and were offering me decent pay. I was pretty pleased, and thinking that I'd be partial to them until the second lot said "we'll pay you more than them, and we want you to start next week." Needless to say I am excited!

Thank god at least something is going right in my life. This is just what I've needed.

That's great, though! Especially in this job market. It's better than me writing weepy, self-pitying diatribes about going to endless job interviews that end up in rejection.

'sif I'm not already. Although the place I've accepted my new job at is the place where ILX is hosted, so I can finally get around to installing the 1gb of ram that Sean Carruthers has very generously donated. That might make things a little quicker around here.

Also, since I'll be actually earning money now I should be able to afford to upgrade the server at the end of the year. Hurrah.
