after recenty getting canned from a cubicle interactive phone call email centric position, i am weighing whether it is best to take another service (see people) position, or take an object oriented gig. seems that if you are a writer you would want that human interaction maybe as fuel. myself i'm leaning towards boxes.

I do box. But it's aint all gravy. I mean it's not even soup. I get my energy sucked through a screen. People could be good but if it's service, you're bound to get wound up by the dregs and if it's social, you might find yourself taking your job home with you.

phone/email-oriented: fuel AND computer/internet access. Boxes will just slowly devour your soul. Well, they both will, but boxes hurt your back too.

yeah but boxes don't talk about lame tv shows all day and what they're going to do that weekend...yawn

Yeah, I'm think I'm just gonna sit around the warehouse this weekend and chill.

You'd be wrong. Human interaction happens when you least want it to, anyway. People are for dissecting from afar.
