I'm also "sort of" sick today. I don't know if would be wise to go home or keep working. Advice?

plenty o fine suggestions on my "i am not v ill" thread, i feel

possibly i should haf drunk less black coffee, and cleopatra 2525 was not that good, despite sam raimi's total godhood

Maybe Cleopatra 2525 is the secret cause behind all illness. As far as sci-fi shows go it's very poor, only slightly better than the dreaded Lexx. Sam Raimi should hang his head in shame over this one.

How sad that I've even seen a fragment of this show; but I rest the blame for this on the shoulders of a sci-fi loving friend who I was hanging out with at the time.

I watched "Fight Club" for the first time last night... what a GREAT MOVIE. Appropriate use of Brad Pitt, Ed Norton cements his acting godhood, and goofy film/narrative tricks are used to advance the story rather than to show off (unlike the painfully stupid "The Beach").

Dan Perry, Monday, 24 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

(Lexx = incomparably grate, of course)

What what what!! We can have no dissing of Cleo 2525! KEVAAAAAAN!!!!!!

I've been off sick today and very nice it's been too. It was either that or go on the Sudafed.

Tom, Monday, 24 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Just do it, Tom, you know you want to... all the cool kids are doing it... just a spoonful.. mmmm

Ally, Monday, 24 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

is today pirate day and no one told me?

i had copious amounts of coffee today and it DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for me. this is when i knew something was "up."

anyway, home. perhaps i shall watch fight club. except my dvd player doesn't seem to want to work. distressing.

jess, Monday, 24 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Yes, it's Pirate Day. I am wearing an eyepatch and carrying a parrot on my shoulder.

Ally, Monday, 24 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Apart from being a dumbass and posting too early... I have a massive migraine at the moment. I have taken a couple of meltlets but it didn't help. I think it's the fact I am going to the states on wednesday. I am not looking forward to the flight.

nathalie, Monday, 24 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

No, it is not pirate day until I SAY SO. There will be an announcement on that shortly.
