I just want to make it *totally* clear that this board is meant IN NO WAY to rival ILM, or as a snub to Tom or anyone else. In fact it's meant to complement FT/ILM. Prompted by the chat/fora suggestions thread and various questions that have popped up from time to time I thought it might be a good idea to set up a sister board. Go have a look; there are many questions about favourite books, kid's tv programmes and other non-music related stuff that people have put up probably because they would like to know and perhaps value the opinions of the ILM crowd, but sadly those questions don't fit into the ILM mandate. So, I thought, why not have a board for the ILM community to talk about other stuff so as not to piss anyone off. This may be a generalisation, but we all seem to be (pop) culture junkies, and of course that encompasses *so much* that isn't music. Some topics will naturally overlap, hence the (proposed) link with FT/ILM. Sorry to go on a bit, but I realised after I'd started this it may look like I'm sticking two fingers up at Tom or trying to muscle my way on to the FT crew, both of which are NOT TRUE.
