Some guy came up to me in Covent Garden, said he was a talent scout, gave me a card, and took my photo. Is he just trying to scam me, or am I genuinely hot as fuck?

I said to him, "You might want to wait for half an hour before you take my photo, cos I'm about to get my hair cut". Thank God he didn't do that, cos the haircut was a disaster.

Anyway, has this has ever happened to anyone?

I got that too outside topman in Oxford Circus. They didn't take my photo but they gave me a card with a website on and asked me to send my photo there. I keep meaning to but I don't have any decent photos.

apparently a lot of these modelling agencies (the ones that arent complete scams) are actually looking for women for amatuer porn. they obviously dont have to look too hard for men, the queues usually extend right around the block.

It could be entirely genuine. It could be looking for someone to be in porn or some other sleazy thing - up to you how you feel about that. It could be a scam where they talk up your prospects and offer to do you a professional portfolio for a reasonable price. Who knows? You can try calling and seeing what you think - it might be something good. If you go to meet anyone, I'd recommend taking a friend.

Someone did this to me, once, too. Basically, I put in a couple hundred to put together a portfolio, which turned out pretty well, and then they hooked me up with some photo work, high-profile advertising stuff, and now I'm on the label of a personal lubricant in Uzbekistan. Every once in a while, at airports, what I gather are Uzbeks will start giggling at me, and sometimes they'll ask for autographs and stuff, so it's pretty fun.

My aunt's second husband was a senior model,but he only ever seemed to get quite odd jobs. I remember seeing one picture of him dressed up like George Washington and sat with a scroll and a huge quill in his hand. No idea what that was all about.
