that Evanescence lead singer

"that Evanescence lead singer could be wearing an enormous cloak that completely conceals her figure, but i'd still find her just as hot as if she was in Trinity's leather catsuit." stevem

What is up with her? She intrigues me. The songs get stuck in my head even though they make me laugh. But then I saw her in some magazine and she had SO much makeup on she hardly looked real.

Discuss.

Hot Topic checkout girl chic.

she seems naturally very pretty facially - even just the eyes, which for me is the absolute cornerstone. i haven't actually seen many close-up photos tho.

she looks pretty great in the new video too - rivalling Christina Aguilera for 'Queen of absurd get-up' honours.

One day soon she will get it on with Billy Corgan and they will have disgusting preposterous baroque gothlet children together.

Oh Matt, why did you have to conjure up that mental image?

too much make-up = bit of a turn-off - not convinced she needs it anyway

as i pointed out on the sexy/pretty/attractive/beautiful thread, conventional prettiness alone isn't be all and end all. fortunately tho she has this stigma of being a moody 'goth' sort and that 'darkside' aspect gives her a more sexy allure. she could probably do with more sass tho (i have no idea if she is at all sassy, but sass as a quality is hotter than anything aesthetically pleasing/arousing).

I like it at the start of the video when she's just walked out on to the stage and she's looking around herself at the crowd. She looks very real there. It's ok that noone knows what I'm talking about.

disgusting preposterous baroque gothlet children
This makes me think of that Aphex Twin video. But anyway, did anyone ever see that magazine spread of Smashing Pumpkins where they each had their own twin child? FREAKY!?!

this thread is so much better than it would've been had it been started by calz

Too much make-up ALWAYS a turn off. To me, obv, DYOR.

Mark C (Mark C), Tuesday, 19 August 2003 15:35 (twenty-two years ago)

She's pretty.

The songs get stuck in my head even though they make me laugh.

Too much anything = a turn-off.
Not enough of anything = a turn-off.
The right amount of anything = a turn-on.

I mean the Evanescence album is one of my fave's of this year.

Gothlet Children = Pugsley and Wednesday Addams

It'd be great if there was a reality TV show with Billy Corgan...he'd be all like "I dispute the concept of reality, and you're fired"

Ha! I would copy Mark P's comment in to the posts that make you laugh out loud but my copy-paste is fucked.

NA (Nick A.), Tuesday, 19 August 2003 15:55 (twenty-two years ago)

maybe you should just copy some of it
